UI APP DESIGN

Stumble Up Hiking App: Stumble Up was my BTech Honours project at University. My project explored how information design can be used as both a wayfinding and educational tool along a KwaZulu-Natal (KZN) hiking trail. This project combined my love for hiking, graphic design, UI design, photography and illustration. Visual storytelling was also a strong component throughout this study.

I created a hiking navigation app and the physical signboards. The app provided educational information and also had an interactive Ecotherapy tool and tracker. This tracker measured the user's feelings before and after each hike. Users could also win digital badges on the app, share their hiking experiences with friends, as well as learn interesting educational information along the trail, such as the history of the area they were hiking through.
